Pay attention to the flexibility of the knife. If the blade
is toorigid, it might result in permanent deformation.

Note a slight upward curve on the tip of the blade.

With slight pressure applied, the entire body of the
blade sits flush with a flat surface.

Blade material thickness is, in fact quite thin, flexible,
true and level.
Painting and palette knives have the
unique characteristics of being able to sculpt paint three
dimensionally and the ability to add texture, patterns and
lines that are not easily achieved by using paint brush alone.
